Pirin Golf Hotel & Spa

I don't think that the hotel deserves its stars. The prices are enormous for what you get. We were 4 people in my room. My husband and my 2 kids. My children's "bed" was a stretched couch that creaked with every little movement and was very uncomfortable. It was very hard to sleep because of the loud music coming from a restaurant nearby. There were a lot of cracks. We payed for breakfast but there weren't enough tables for everyone. The coffe machines spoiled very often. Overall I was in much better places for lower prices. I will never repeat this experience.

Beware of a small cheap tricks - you have a coffee machine in the room but you are charged for each coffee or tea! Otherwise the place was unusually luxury, built with heavy wood, local architecture but you can not disregard the small "wrongs" as the high positioned toilet bowl versus the low positioned bidet, or the tube was also so high that was hard to reach it without a step leather (which is calling for hazard cases!). All these "small" observations could be by local standard but it is not by world standard which is making this hotel awkward - unnessesary luxury versus wrong standards!

We stayed in our own apartment on the grounds of Pirin Golf Hotel and Spa. The hotel facilities and the log fires are amazing. We enjoyed the spa daily and many thanks to Mustafa and his team for keeping the pools in perfect condition. The Clubhouse is welcoming and beautiful- nothing beats sitting by the log fires with a glass of wine. Thank you again to all the team for keeping the grounds in such a pristine condition. We will be back soon.

We stayed there for just one night as we played some golf. It was a disappointing experience overall. The location of the hotel and the golf course is nice but that’s is all positive I can say. The town were the hotel is located looks as if the best times have been in the past. The hotel itself looks old but was clean. A total disappointment was the food in the hotel. The breakfast as well as the dinner buffet was awful. The service not professional. No one at the bat in the evening. Overall in the resort the staff was not really friendly. The pools look nice online but in fact they were really small. Also the services and the condition of the golf course was not European tour destination standard.

My stay at Pirin Golf Hotel was an absolute delight! From the moment I entered, the luxurious ambiance and impeccable service left a lasting impression. The spacious and well-appointed rooms provided a perfect retreat, and the stunning views of nature added to the overall charm.

You won't regret if you book your holiday here. The best place, with so delicious food, clean and worm rooms and so so kind staff. I came in this hotel over and over for 6 years, and I won't change it for another.

terrible service, high prices, 3 coffees, water and 2 teas 70 BGN, crowded for New Year, 30 minutes waiting to check in, needs renovation, no free tables for breakfast, no one asks you do you need anything, the girls at the lobby bar are impolite.

No sign posting, whole place looks like a labirynth if you are there for the first time. Even reception has no posting, and as it is sideway to the main road, hard to find. A friend drove us to the place and was told if she does not leave within 10 to 15 min will be charged parking fee. We were placed in a room in Downtown 3 just above the disco club (apparently called piano bar melody) which seemed to work about 24 hrs. At 12 am the music was so loud I called reception and asked for assistance. They promised to help, but after one hour without any change I called them again and was told receptionist was alone and not able to come to the club. Instead he asked me to go down and ask for silence (!). I asked if I could have the room changed but needed help with a porter and some drive as the place is really huge. Not possible, had to come to reception, get the key and then move myself with all luggage and my 7 year old sleeping son to the new room. Not feasible at 1 am of course. I had to call 112 twice. As a result, after 2 am the music went slightly down. At 5.30 am I woke up, music was still being played.. Breakfast in the main restaurant average. French restaurant also average. The biggest problem of the place is that you need your room card to go through the hotel and spa area but if you are staying outside the hotel part your card does not work for the hotel and spa. You need another card for the spa which does not work everywhere. At 8.30 pm on our way out from the spa my son and I ended up locked in a tiny area about 4 Sq. M. with 3 doors which our two cards did not open. Dark, no people, hard to tell where you are. Luckily I had my phone with me so called reception to ask for help. We even did not know where we were. Very frustrated experience. Would not recommend this place at all.
